Why we,must continue to celebrate #blackhistorymonth ~ In February 1926, Carter G. Woodson started a "Negro History Week" which was a precursor to Black History Month. He dedicated his career to extensively working and preserving the his/her/ourstories of African Americans. In 1933, Woodson wrote Mis-education of the Negro and it is required reading across colleges and universities. Thank you, Carter G. Woodson, we honor your research and celebrate you!
